The essays are being evaluated by a panel of judges and should be announcing the results shortly.
Meanwhile some informal comments -
Essays should be the students' own composition - they should develop their own thoughts and ideas and formulate an essay with a smooth flow of points in their own style and language.
Books /journals /Net can be browsed for points and generating other ideas, but .  .  .
Cut & Paste is strongly discouraged - yet some students seem to have resorted to cutting paragraphs from the net and pasting them.
One is permitted to copy verbatim only if they are definitions, quotations, etc. (duly mentioning the author) but to copy full paragraphs & paragraphs will not find favor with judges or the readers because that would amount to outright plagiarism.
Anyway let us wait for the judges' opinions.
And we hope to put all the essays or at least most of them on this site for all to read.
Good luck.
